Music’s Gregory Beyer excited to be part of the Grossman Ensemble’s first album

The Grossman Ensemble, a “supergroup” made up of 13 contemporary music specialists in residence at the Chicago Center for Contemporary Composition, has released their first album, “Fountain of Time.” Gregory Beyer, professor of music and director of percussion studies in the NIU School of Music has been part of the group since its inception in 2018.
In just their first two years, the Grossman Ensemble has premiered 20 new works of music, and “Fountain of Time” is available on all major music platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, You Tube, and more.
“It has been an honor and an exhilarating experience to be among this world-class team of contemporary music specialists,” Beyer said. “I am thrilled to announce our first recording, Fountain of Time, to celebrate the very best of all the ensemble has accomplished over its two-year existence.”
